Getting Started
6 questionsWhat is BibleSoul?
BibleSoul is a Christian digital ministry platform designed to help believers grow in faith through Bible reading, theological education, prayer networking, church connections, live worship, and community building. We serve individuals, churches, and ministries worldwide.
Our mission is to make high-quality, faith-based resources freely accessible to every believer, regardless of geography or economic background.
Is BibleSoul free to use?
Yes — the core features of BibleSoul are completely free, including Bible reading in multiple translations, community prayer groups, devotional content, and basic course access. We believe God's Word should be available to everyone.
Some premium features — such as advanced Academy certifications, downloadable course materials, and ad-free streaming — are available through an optional premium subscription. We offer generous free tiers so no one is excluded from growing in faith.
How do I create a BibleSoul account?
Creating an account takes less than two minutes:
- Click Sign Up in the top navigation bar
- Enter your name, email address, and a secure password
- Verify your email address using the confirmation link we send you
- Complete your profile and start exploring BibleSoul
You can also sign up using your Google or Facebook account for a quicker start.
Do I need an account to read the Bible on BibleSoul?
No — you can read the Bible in any available translation without creating an account. However, an account lets you save bookmarks, highlight verses, write study notes, track your reading plan progress, and access prayer features. We recommend registering to get the full BibleSoul experience.
Is BibleSoul available as a mobile app?
Our platform is fully mobile-responsive and works beautifully in any modern browser on phones and tablets. A dedicated native app for Android and iOS is currently in development and will be announced to registered users first. Stay connected to receive the launch notification.
Which languages does BibleSoul support?
The BibleSoul platform interface is currently available in English. We are actively working on adding Spanish, French, Portuguese, Swahili, Hindi, and several other major languages. The Bible reading section already supports dozens of languages through our translation library. If you'd like to volunteer as a translator, please contact us at hello@biblesoul.org.
Bible & Study
5 questionsWhich Bible translations are available?
BibleSoul provides access to a wide range of translations, including:
- King James Version (KJV) — public domain
- New International Version (NIV)
- English Standard Version (ESV)
- New Living Translation (NLT)
- New King James Version (NKJV)
- The Message (MSG)
- Amplified Bible (AMP)
- And many more in multiple languages
We are continually adding new translations. Translations other than the KJV are provided under licence from their respective publishers.
Can I highlight verses and take notes?
Yes — registered users can highlight verses in multiple colours, bookmark passages, and write personal study notes attached to any verse or chapter. All your highlights and notes are saved to your account so they're available across devices. You can also export your notes as a PDF for offline use.
What is the Audio Bible feature?
The Audio Bible allows you to listen to professionally narrated readings of the entire Bible. You can follow along in the text while the audio plays, adjust playback speed, and continue listening in the background while using other features. Audio Bible is available for several major translations and supports offline download for premium users.
Are there Bible reading plans?
Yes — BibleSoul offers a variety of structured reading plans, including:
- Read the Bible in one year (various schedules)
- New Testament in 90 days
- Topical plans (faith, hope, family, leadership, etc.)
- Book-by-book deep-dive plans
- Devotional plans tied to seasons of the church calendar
Your daily progress is tracked automatically and you'll receive gentle reminders to stay consistent.
Can I compare Bible verses side by side?
Yes — our Bible reader includes a parallel view that lets you compare up to three translations side by side. This is especially useful for Bible study groups, sermon preparation, and gaining a deeper understanding of the original meaning. Simply switch to "Parallel" mode in the Bible reader settings.
Academy & Courses
5 questionsWhat is the BibleSoul Academy?
The BibleSoul Academy is our structured theological education programme offering courses ranging from Biblical Foundation for new believers to advanced Theology and Ministry Leadership tracks. Courses are designed by experienced theologians and pastors, delivered through video lessons, reading materials, quizzes, and live class sessions.
Upon successful completion of a course, you receive a BibleSoul certificate of completion that you can share with your church or ministry.
How do I enrol in a course?
Enrolling is simple — browse the Academy catalogue, click on any course that interests you, and select Enrol Now. Free courses begin immediately. For premium courses, you'll be guided through the payment process first. Once enrolled, your course appears in your My Courses dashboard for easy access.
Are courses self-paced or scheduled?
Most BibleSoul Academy courses are self-paced — you can start, pause, and resume at any time and the content never expires after enrolment. Live Bible Classes run on a fixed weekly schedule and are also recorded so you can catch up if you miss a session. Check each course's description for the format details.
How do exams and certificates work?
Each course includes a final exam or assessment to verify your understanding. The passing score is 70% for most courses. You may retake the exam up to three times. Once you pass, a digital certificate is generated instantly and stored in your profile. Certificates include a unique verification code that third parties can use to confirm its authenticity on the BibleSoul website.
Can my church use BibleSoul for group Bible study?
Absolutely — BibleSoul is designed with church communities in mind. Pastors and ministry leaders can create private study groups, assign courses to members, track progress, and host live discussion sessions. Contact us at hello@biblesoul.org to learn about our Church Partnership Programme, which offers group discounts and additional administrative tools.
Prayer & Community
5 questionsHow do I submit a prayer request?
Navigate to Prayer & Worship → Prayer Request in the sidebar. Fill in your request and choose whether to share it publicly with the prayer community or keep it private (only visible to our prayer team). You can also mark requests as answered and share your testimony of how God responded.
What is the Prayer Wall?
The Prayer Wall is a live, community-driven space where believers can post prayer requests and pray for one another. Each request displays the number of people praying for it, and you can tap "I prayed for this" to encourage the requester. The Prayer Wall is moderated to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members.
How do I join or create a community group?
Browse existing groups from the Community section in the sidebar. Groups are organised by topic, language, region, and denomination. To join a public group, simply click Join. Private groups require approval from the group leader.
To create your own group, go to Community → Create Group. You can set it as public or private, invite members, schedule events, and manage group discussions — all within BibleSoul.
Are there live prayer sessions or worship events?
Yes — BibleSoul hosts regular live prayer sessions, worship nights, and special events. You can find the upcoming schedule under Live Services in the sidebar. You'll be notified of events you register for, and recordings of past sessions are archived in the Media Library for replay.
How is community content moderated?
BibleSoul maintains a dedicated moderation team that reviews flagged content. Community members can report posts, comments, or prayer requests that seem inappropriate or harmful using the report button on any content item. We aim to respond to all reports within 24 hours. Our community guidelines prioritise respect, grace, and the building up of one another in faith (Ephesians 4:29).
Donations & Giving
5 questionsHow do I make a donation?
Visit Support & Giving → Donate Now or click the floating donate button available on most pages. Choose a one-time gift or set up a recurring monthly donation. We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and local payment methods in supported regions. All transactions are secured with TLS encryption.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Tax deductibility depends on your country of residence and applicable tax laws. BibleSoul Ministries Inc. is a registered non-profit organisation in the United States, so US donors may be eligible to claim a deduction. We recommend consulting a qualified tax adviser to confirm eligibility in your jurisdiction. We provide a donation receipt via email for all transactions upon request.
Can I support a specific ministry campaign?
Yes — our donation page lists active campaigns such as Bible translation projects, scholarship funds, church-planting initiatives, and emergency aid. You can choose to direct your gift to a specific campaign or give to the general ministry fund, which is allocated at the discretion of BibleSoul leadership to the areas of greatest need.
How is my donation used?
BibleSoul is committed to financial transparency. Donations fund platform development and maintenance, content creation and Bible translation, scholarships and academy bursaries, global outreach and church-planting projects, and operational staff who deliver these ministries. We publish an annual impact report that details how funds were used.
Can I cancel or modify a recurring donation?
Yes — you can manage, pause, or cancel any recurring donation at any time from My Dashboard → My Donations. Changes take effect before the next scheduled payment. If you experience any difficulty managing your giving, please contact billing@biblesoul.org and we'll assist you promptly.
Account & Technical
6 questionsHow do I reset my password?
On the login page, click Forgot Password? and enter the email address associated with your account. We'll send a password reset link that is valid for 60 minutes. Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes. If you still need help, contact support@biblesoul.org.
How do I update my profile information?
Go to My Dashboard → My Profile or Account Settings. From there you can update your display name, profile photo, bio, location, church affiliation, and notification preferences. Email address changes require verification through the new email to take effect.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from Account Settings → Privacy. After submitting the request, you'll receive a confirmation email with a 14-day grace period during which your account is deactivated but not yet deleted — in case you change your mind. After 14 days all personal data is permanently removed from our systems in compliance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

You can toggle alerts for daily devotionals, prayer updates, new course announcements, community replies, and more. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the link at the bottom of any promotional email.
Is my personal data kept secure?
Yes — BibleSoul takes data security seriously. We use TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, hash and salt passwords using industry-standard algorithms, and conduct regular security audits. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, read our Privacy Policy or contact privacy@biblesoul.org.
